Landesa’s annual gala in Seattle, Seed the Change, celebrates International Women’s Day and highlights Landesa’s commitment to bettering the lives of women and their families around the world. When women have secure land rights, they are better positioned to lift themselves and their families out of poverty. Seed the Change includes a seated dinner with globally inspired menu.
This year, we are proud to feature remarks by Emmanuel Urey, Landesa’s Liberia Country Representative and long-time land rights activist. Emmanuel has been instrumental to Landesa’s work supporting Liberia’s Land Rights Act, implementing community activities, and leading national awareness-raising through our radio program, Land is Life. Emmanuel recently completed his PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has years of experience researching and advocating for land rights in Liberia. Don’t wait—join us at Seed the Change on March 14!
