November 19, 2012 — In the first visit by a U.S. President to Myanmar, President Obama made a significant endorsement of land rights today in his speech at the University of Yangon.  Landesa has been advocating for improved land rights in Myanmar as well and recently wrote an editorial in the New York Times.
