Jeff Riedinger Vice Provost Emeritus of Global Affairs and Professor Emeritus of Law, University of Washington
Jeff Riedinger is Vice Provost Emeritus of Global Affairs and Professor Emeritus of Law at the University of Washington. Dr. Riedinger was previously responsible for the UW’s diverse global programming, including developing and sustaining strategic partnerships with universities, corporations, foundations, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations to advance cross-continent research, teaching, and community engagement to address some of the world’s most pressing problems and most promising opportunities.
As a legal scholar and comparative political scientist, Dr. Riedinger has a developing area focus, with special emphasis on rural land tenure security in low-income countries in Asia, sub-Saharan Africa, Central America, and the Middle East.
Dr. Riedinger earned a B.A. at Dartmouth College, a J.D. at the University of Washington, and a Ph.D. at Princeton University.
