Who We AreGlobal Leadership

Sam Sophal Cambodia National Coordinator

WHY I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT LANDESA’S MISSION:

The people in Indigenous communities as well as in many villages are at risk of losing their land because of less understanding about land tenure security, living on unregistered land, and their land surrounded by development projects and powerful people. By working for Landesa, I have opportunities to help many communities and villagers as much as possible to secure their land tenures through project intervention, scaling up of best practices, and policy recommendations.

ABOUT SOPHAL:

Sophal Sam has comprehensive experience in program coordination on law procedures and information technology for development.
